Jacob Gade (1879-1963), dansk komponist, violinist og dirigent.
I 1925 komponerede han Tango Jalousie til en film
og dermed begyndte vejen mod verdensberømmelse.
Tango Jalousie er en af de mest populære og mest spillede melodier,
der nogensinde er komponeret.

Jacob Gade really made his name on the inter­national music scene,
when he wrote the tango “Jalousie. Tango Tzigane” in 1925.
The tango was played for the first time
at the Copenhagen premiere of the film “Don Q, Son of Zorro”.
